  • Shocking CCTV footage shows a cat miraculously survive after being thrown nine stories by it's owner.
    The horrifying video was recorded in the car park of a block of flats in the city of Lietsk, western Russia and shows the black cat drop onto a parked car bonnet with such force that he dents it.
    The cat bounces off the bonnet and into a somersault by the , spinning through the air before landing on its feet on the ground.


    Amazingly, we see the animal  get up and run off past a flight of stairs with a slight limp.
    The video was shared online after the car's owner, Aleksandr Tor, saw a dent on his vehicle's bonnet. 
    Tor contacted the police to file a complaint and they are currently investigating the incident.

    Local media said that the cat was deliberately thrown from the ninth-floor-window by it's drunk owner.
    According to reports, falling from super-high heights have a greater chance of than low- rise falls. 
    Experts believe that they can spread their limbs to reduce the impact of the fall.
    From the moment they're in the air to the instant after they hit the ground, cats' bodies are built to survive high falls, scientists say. 
    No arrests have yet been made but Tor said that he hoped the cat's owner is sentenced in court for the horrific act of animal cruelty.
